Silver Fern Farms have announced the appointment of Matt Baker to the role of GM – Global Markets & Sales

We are delighted to share that Silver Fern Farms Ltd have appointed Matt Baker as GM – Global Markets & Sales following an executive search led by Baxter Executive Search.

Matt has been with Silver Fern Farms since 2013, when he joined as Market Manager – Europe. After four years in that role, he moved into Market Manager – Rest of World, taking responsibility for overseas markets outside of USA and China.

Over his tenure, Matt has also made a significant impact in the project space, representing the customer business as Value Stream Lead, where he played a key role in the delivery of both the CRM and Customer Portal projects.

Most recently, Matt completed a one-year international assignment with Silver Fern Farms’ China team as Head of Business Planning & Strategy Enablement. Since returning to New Zealand, he has been providing valuable support to the PIP project, further strengthening his already deep understanding of the business, customers, and global market dynamics.

Matt brings a strong commercial mindset, extensive international experience, and a proven record of strategic leadership to provide strong direction to the Global Markets & Sales team and continue to build on the excellent foundations already in place. Matt commenced in the role Monday 16th February. We wish him every success.
