Silver Fern Farm have announced the appointment of Ben Rodgers to the role of Chief Financial Officer

We’re delighted to share that Silver Fern Farms Ltd have appointed Ben Rodgers as Chief Financial Officer. Baxter Executive Search was pleased to partner with Silver Fern Farms on this extensive executive search, culminating in Ben commencing in the role in December 2025.

Reporting to the CEO, Ben leads Silver Fern Farms’ finance and accounting, treasury, commercial, legal, non livestock procurement and shared services functions. He was most recently CFO at NZ King Salmon based in Nelson, where he led significant transformation of the business with complexity, variability in farming, processing and export markets similar to Silver Fern Farms. He previously held senior roles with Z Energy and Kiwibank.

Ben holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) and a Postgraduate Diploma in Accountancy from Massey University. He is a graduate of Stanford University Graduate School of Business’ Executive Program for Growing Companies.
