Rimanui Farms have announced the appointment of Kathryn Broomfield as General Manager, Lochinver and Otamatea Farms

We are delighted to announce that Kathryn Broomfield has been appointed as the General Manager for Lochinver and Otamatea farms at Rimanui Farms Limited, following an executive search by Baxter Executive Search.

Kathryn (Kat) brings a wealth of experience in managing complex farming operations across both family-owned and corporate settings. With her deep knowledge of New Zealand livestock farming systems and the agricultural sector, Kat is adept at implementing comprehensive farm system changes.
Currently, Kat serves as the Senior Business Manager at Pamu in Taupo, where she leads a team of 40 people across 9 farms in the central North Island.

Her impressive portfolio includes overseeing Pamu’s apprentice programme, a methane research facility, and the genetics portfolio. Kat joined Pamu in 2016 as an Operations Manager for dairy farming and has since made significant contributions to the organisation. She was previously a shareholder and administrator of a family dairy farming business.

Kat holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Commerce and is currently pursuing an MBA. She commences with Rimanui Farms on the 3rd of March.
