LIC have announced the appointment of Jacquie Shuker to the role of Chief People Officer

We are thrilled to share that Jacquie Shuker has been appointed Chief People Officer with Livestock Improvement Corporation (LIC) following an executive search by Baxter Executive Search.

Jacquie brings extensive experience in senior people leadership roles in the FMCG and telecommunications sectors, with roles spanning New Zealand, Australia, and the UK. Since 2022 she has been People and Culture Director with Lion New Zealand. Prior to this she was based in Sydney with Lion as People & Culture Director. Jacquie’s career includes senior HR and organisational development roles at Fonterra, Alcatel-Lucent, and leadership positions at Griffins Foods, Frucor Beverages, BT, and Telstra.
She is well qualified with a Master of Management in Human Resources, a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Post Graduate Diploma in Banking from Massey University. Jacquie is recognised for her expertise in organisational development, leadership capability, and driving change to deliver strong business outcomes.

Jacquie commences with LIC on the 2nd of February. We wish her every success in ‘greener pastures’.
